Dowd presents its second Annual Global PvP Tournament

Perfect World Entertainment Inc.., has revealed their roster for Team Legacy, which will compete against nine other countries in the Jade Dynasty second Annual Global PvP Tournament (August 20-22) taking place in Beijing, China. Players from around the world are going to compete for the ultimate title of best Jade Dynasty-PvP team as well as a share of thousands of dollars worth of prizes and customized virtual items.

Seen as the underdog in last year's world PvP tournament, Dowd's team managed to pull several upsets to finish third place.  "Because no one expected our team to place, it was truly an honor for our team to stand on the podium and receive the Bronze Medal," according to Sakurai.  "This year, we hope to last year's best performances and go for Gold along with the highly coveted title of Best Jade Dynasty-PvP Team in the World."

The Online FPS Crossfire arrives to Europe

SG Interactive, has revealed that Crossfire Europe, a free online FPS, in coming to Europe very soon, with a Closed Beta Test scheduled to begin on Aug. 31, 2011. Crossfire is a popular online game, setting an impressive record of 2.8 million concurrent users across the world.

New expansion for Dragonica

Gala Networks Europe, has presented New Origin, the next Dragonica expansion that will launch in September.
New Origin promises to be the biggest content update ever in the history of Dragonica, and will include lots of new features such as new mountable pets and a new playable race.

New Origin will see the arrival of a new race for Dragonica players, the first to be added since the game's official launch. This new race will arrive with an entirely new player class, which possesses skills specialising in summoning and other magical attributes, differing significantly from classes currently available.
This new, unique class can summon monsters in order to help them during battles or fire at the player's opponents from the ground or the air, and will only be available to players at level 20. Another class for the new race is due to be announced soon.

Furthermore, mountable pets will be obtainable with the launch of the New Origin. This brand new system will allow players to use their pets as mounts and deploy them in battles.

MapleStory new content update

MapleStory has finished the Chaos series Nexon , and has presented Age of Triumph, a huge update that brings new content exclusively to those players who traverse Maple World on Global MapleStory servers.

Age of Triumph is a new update to the players that bring an entirely new story line called the Silent Crusade. This full length quest for players level 37-110 introduces to battle force that specializes in eliminating Master Monsters, a faction of enemies never before seen in MapleStory.

Throughout their journey through the Silent Crusade, players will be introduced to new NPCs that will aid them along their quest, including one character that will grab the hearts of players seeking a new romance. The Silent Crusade will be narrated through colorful, action-packed in-game cutscenes and battles through tandem with NPCs.

Age of Triumph will also introduce the new Capture the Flag mode, a new game type added to MapleStory's PVP mode. Three to six players in two teams will fight for their opponents flag, and the first team to do so three times is declared the winner. Item drops, including speed ups, power ups, HP recoveries and more will aid players throughout the battle, along with additional points and medals for players that exhibit the actions of a true strategist.

Dragon's Call 2.0 Patch

The first part of Dragon's Call 2.0 update is going to be released at August 18th.
The new features include: the new Vampire Class with the artworks unveiled; the new dungeon map, demon city, reversing the ways in which the Dragon's Call used to be played, breaking through with a brand new method.

Dragon's Call new features:
Wage System- The wage system allows players to claim corresponding rewards with the use of points that are accumulated by completing relevant quests.

Improved Equipment -Extra stats will be added during the refining process. Different stats will be added to different class equipment, such as "strength to the equipment for warriors, assassins, agility to intellect to mages and stamina to the equipment fit for all classes, like rings and necklaces.

Reset Character Stats -Level 40 + characters are able to reset their stats, including strength, stamina, intellect and agility. However, luck cannot be reset, it may be increased or reduced after other stats are reset. Some gold will be consumed every time when stats are reset and the number of gold is related to character level.

Optimized Gems and Warehouse -After the patch is updated, gems, dragonshards, soul stones, event items, buff potions can be piled into one slot, but the upper limit is 100. In this way, the warehouse space can be saved greatly. Quickly draw gems from the warehouse through a shortcut button during the enhancement process.
When refining, purifying, combining and injecting soul to equipment, players can quickly purchase gems or take out gems from warehouse by clicking the relevant shortcut buttons.

Auto-sell System -The newest car-sell system can help players automatically sell equipment (common equipment by default) that are obtained through killing monsters.

Optimized Quiz Show -The rankings will be based on the time that players spend in answering questions instead of scores.

Tribes Ascend: Closed Beta in September
