Dowd presents its second Annual Global PvP Tournament

Perfect World Entertainment Inc.., has revealed their roster for Team Legacy, which will compete against nine other countries in the Jade Dynasty second Annual Global PvP Tournament (August 20-22) taking place in Beijing, China. Players from around the world are going to compete for the ultimate title of best Jade Dynasty-PvP team as well as a share of thousands of dollars worth of prizes and customized virtual items.

Seen as the underdog in last year's world PvP tournament, Dowd's team managed to pull several upsets to finish third place.  "Because no one expected our team to place, it was truly an honor for our team to stand on the podium and receive the Bronze Medal," according to Sakurai.  "This year, we hope to last year's best performances and go for Gold along with the highly coveted title of Best Jade Dynasty-PvP Team in the World."

The Online FPS Crossfire arrives to Europe

SG Interactive, has revealed that Crossfire Europe, a free online FPS, in coming to Europe very soon, with a Closed Beta Test scheduled to begin on Aug. 31, 2011. Crossfire is a popular online game, setting an impressive record of 2.8 million concurrent users across the world.

New expansion for Dragonica

Gala Networks Europe, has presented New Origin, the next Dragonica expansion that will launch in September.
New Origin promises to be the biggest content update ever in the history of Dragonica, and will include lots of new features such as new mountable pets and a new playable race.

New Origin will see the arrival of a new race for Dragonica players, the first to be added since the game's official launch. This new race will arrive with an entirely new player class, which possesses skills specialising in summoning and other magical attributes, differing significantly from classes currently available.
This new, unique class can summon monsters in order to help them during battles or fire at the player's opponents from the ground or the air, and will only be available to players at level 20. Another class for the new race is due to be announced soon.

Furthermore, mountable pets will be obtainable with the launch of the New Origin. This brand new system will allow players to use their pets as mounts and deploy them in battles.

MapleStory new content update

MapleStory has finished the Chaos series Nexon , and has presented Age of Triumph, a huge update that brings new content exclusively to those players who traverse Maple World on Global MapleStory servers.

Age of Triumph is a new update to the players that bring an entirely new story line called the Silent Crusade. This full length quest for players level 37-110 introduces to battle force that specializes in eliminating Master Monsters, a faction of enemies never before seen in MapleStory.

Throughout their journey through the Silent Crusade, players will be introduced to new NPCs that will aid them along their quest, including one character that will grab the hearts of players seeking a new romance. The Silent Crusade will be narrated through colorful, action-packed in-game cutscenes and battles through tandem with NPCs.

Age of Triumph will also introduce the new Capture the Flag mode, a new game type added to MapleStory's PVP mode. Three to six players in two teams will fight for their opponents flag, and the first team to do so three times is declared the winner. Item drops, including speed ups, power ups, HP recoveries and more will aid players throughout the battle, along with additional points and medals for players that exhibit the actions of a true strategist.

Dragon's Call 2.0 Patch

The first part of Dragon's Call 2.0 update is going to be released at August 18th.
The new features include: the new Vampire Class with the artworks unveiled; the new dungeon map, demon city, reversing the ways in which the Dragon's Call used to be played, breaking through with a brand new method.

Dragon's Call new features:
Wage System- The wage system allows players to claim corresponding rewards with the use of points that are accumulated by completing relevant quests.

Improved Equipment -Extra stats will be added during the refining process. Different stats will be added to different class equipment, such as "strength to the equipment for warriors, assassins, agility to intellect to mages and stamina to the equipment fit for all classes, like rings and necklaces.

Reset Character Stats -Level 40 + characters are able to reset their stats, including strength, stamina, intellect and agility. However, luck cannot be reset, it may be increased or reduced after other stats are reset. Some gold will be consumed every time when stats are reset and the number of gold is related to character level.

Optimized Gems and Warehouse -After the patch is updated, gems, dragonshards, soul stones, event items, buff potions can be piled into one slot, but the upper limit is 100. In this way, the warehouse space can be saved greatly. Quickly draw gems from the warehouse through a shortcut button during the enhancement process.
When refining, purifying, combining and injecting soul to equipment, players can quickly purchase gems or take out gems from warehouse by clicking the relevant shortcut buttons.

Auto-sell System -The newest car-sell system can help players automatically sell equipment (common equipment by default) that are obtained through killing monsters.

Optimized Quiz Show -The rankings will be based on the time that players spend in answering questions instead of scores.

World of Wacraft subscribers decline

Blizzard few months ago announced an actual decline in subscriptions of its award-winning mmorpg, which since 2004 dominate the mmorpg market. But now the drop starts to become disturbing ...

The WOW numbers remained respectable, however, the last year's 12 million subscribers fell to 11 million, and this only in the first half of 2011!

Surely there will be an acceleration in the release of upcoming expansions, and the rumor about Mist of Pandaria register by Blizzard just a few days ago …

Troy Online open beta

Troy, the next free Online massive multiplayer game (MMO) of ALT1, has released the schedule and available features for their final beta test, an open beta.

ALT1 Games, the American arm of Korean gaming company ALT1, has released two games in 2011 but is focusing primarily on Troy Online.

Troy Online open beta will begin on August 12, 2011, and last for seven days. This will be the last test before the game finally makes its commercial debut on August 19, 2011.

ALT1 Games will be finalizing all systems within the Troy Online game as well as the website and the ALT1 Coin system. Additional features will also be added, such as an area for members of both factions to fight against each other and team up to tackle monsters. There will also be a modified battle systems and additional battlefields. Secondary class skills and abilities have been improved as well.

ALT 1 Games will end the final opened the beta test on August 18th and will release a commercial version of the game the next day.

Aeria Games unveils the story of the Golden Age

Aeria Games, has presented the details about the story for Golden Age, a real-time strategy browser-based game coming soon to players in North and Latin America.

Based on true events from medieval European history, Golden Age starts its epic storyline with the rumored to conquests of real-life historical figures, Jacques de Molay, the last known Grand Master of the powerful Order of Knights Templar.

Following Molay's documented outrage at baseless arrests of the Knights Templar in 1307 A.D., Golden Age introduces a fellow knight said to have received a map to a lost continent from Molay himself. At Molay's request, the knight secretly leads 400 Knights Templar to safety in these unknown lands.  Players enter the tumultuous Golden Age setting shortly following the Templars discovery and colonization of the mysterious treasure-filled region, and must defend their developing fortresses from oncoming waves of greedy plunderers.

Rhine Commerce Guild -Founded by a traveling merchant and his greedy civilian followers, this class of citizens has real-life roots in medieval Germany.

NHN debut at Gamescom 2011

NHN Corporation is going to introduce four brand new PC titles at this year Gamescom. The Gamescom takes place from 17 to 21 August, 2011 at the K lnmesse in Cologne.
- Trinity 2, a 3D side-scrolling online action RPG combining dynamic action with a vibrant, finely-detailed high-tech/fantasy theme
- AUCTION, visually stunning, full-featured AAA MMO with varied gameplay and a captivating Asian fantasy style

Karma Online is going to begin its open beta
Joymax has announced the upcoming World War II game Karma Online: Prisoners of the Dead, and the open beta test, which runs through August 16th. Additionally, Joymax has revealed information on two new characters, Gunther and Karl, who are now playable in the open beta.  KARMA Online: Prisoners of the Dead will be available in English, German, Spanish and Turkish.

Besides ten new maps in the open beta, two new characters Gunther and Karl, are now available to players who have not yet been able to play as them until now.

His holier-than-thou attitude is hardly noticeable in his speech, but he believes deep in his heart the superiority of the Arians and is a perfectionist to the bone. Although less experienced than his peers, this dark horse has already made an impressive debut on the eastern front. Many expect that his career in the military will eventually bring him to the top ". Karl's looks may be deceiving, he may appear a thin man with a face that resembles that of a hawk, but he packs more muscle than one might expect.

SG Interactive, has announced that Ley Grand Chase: Chaos ageless sorceress, is going to learn a new job. Ley will receive the Harbinger job class, a specialized summoning class, on Aug. 9, 2011.
The players may pre-purchase unique packages that include the new class, as well as a number of bonus items. SG Interactive is celebrating the job update with a trio of in-game events:

Tropical Paradise Swimsuit Event- Through Aug. 9, Grand Chase fans will receive a Fusion Chest the first time they log in each day. The Fusion Chest can be applied to a character of players choice, and will immediately grant to swanky Tropical Paradise Fusion Set.

Ley s Emblem Event- Through Aug. 16, players will receive a 10 percent boost for experience points simply seeing Ley's emblem in dungeons. Furthermore, logging in to the game each day during the event will net players to Love Ley's Orb, which can be forged into a unique pet accessory.

Rock Paper Scissors Mini-Game- Through Aug. 16, players can participate in a special mini-Rock Paper Scissors game. Simply log in to Grand Chase, receive the game and click Play. Players will take on five different boss pets, with different rewards distributed based on how many pets are defeated.

Global Agenda, a fantastic free shooter!

Global Agenda is a really great free shooter! It's a mix between a Shooter and an RPG online, which until now had not yet seen. Characterized by quick fights, a gamaplay fluid and a 3D graphics really important.
A game with futuristic setting where the frenetic combat where, the strategy and the cooperation of team are emerging aspects of this Shooter.
Each player starts with the choice between the following classes: Assault, medic, Recon Robotics or, where all four are indispensable to bring victory at home.
These are structured to have the ultimate team game, the doctor will be important to cure and heal their teammates, class Robotics is useful to place a turret in a strategic point or Recon skilled for a stealth tactical reconnaissance and of ranged combat.
RPG elements that I mentioned earlier regarding the missions, both in PVE than PVP, to gain more experience and skills in the game and to participate in something other than the First!

Red5 Studios couldn't make us a better gift for Christmas by releasing one of the most talked games in recent times. Obviously, I when I say release I mean release, so it's not a beta or a half-full game, but a official release!

All this was announced during GDC China by Mark kern, CEO of Red5 Studios. Now lacks only a certain date but for that we have to wait for the next few weeks!

Tribes: Ascend, the long-awaited new title in the popular Tribes franchise, will be playable in a Hi-Rez's media alongside SMITE booth, a new action-strategy game which will be unveiled and playable for the very first time at the show.

SMITE -Announced this past April, SMITE is a brand new game where gods from various mythologies fight for supremacy in action-packed multiplayer battles, within beautiful environments powered by Unreal Engine 3. For the first time ever, SMITE will be shown to the press in a playable version behind closed doors on the Hi-Rez booth, with Travis Brown, Senior Designer, available to chat about the game.

Silkroad Online new content update

Silkroad Online has launched a new content update
Joymax, has announced the launch of a new Silkroad Online update, Mysterious Temple of Jupiter, its eighth expansion for one of the company's most popular franchises.

The update to the Silkroad Online series delivers character and skill mastery level increases, as well as new quests and upcoming events to keep players enthralled with tons of new content to explore.

"We are pleased that today marks the eighth expansion for Silkroad Online," said Nam-chul Kim, CEO of Joymax. "Mysterious Temple of Jupiter is exactly what our loyal fans and players have been asking for, and between the level increase to 120, an explosive amount of new quests, and engaging events, our users will continue to come back for more for the foreseeable future."

One of the new updates includes players having the ability to reach level 120, and brand new skills are added for each skill class, such as Chinese and European arts.  The expansion adds more than 60 new quests as part of the exploration of the mysterious temples dedicated to Jupiter, as well as dungeons and hunting grounds, although players must be at least level 111 to enter.

There's also plenty of content for low-to mid-level characters, with a streamlined and improved enemy monster to which provides a more active, tactical experience. This content is in addition to more than 100 new monsters now inhabiting the Jupiter universe, including the new dungeons, waiting to pounce on the nearest character.

In addition the launch of Mysterious Temple of Jupiter brings several new events for Silkroad's players to immerse themselves with, including a two-week event through August 16. The Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves event will have players collecting Boss Thief Thief Tickets and Tickets to exchange them with useful weapons.
From August 16 to August 23, the event will take place where Famous items are rewarded to players for increasing abilities such as intelligence or strength and experience. Beginning August 23rd and running through the 30th, the Seal Collection event means that players who talk to the NPC will receive a voucher for an 11th Grade Power Weapon.

Hellgate users by country

Hellgate Global, has been received with great popularity since they launched its Open Beta on June 30th. Only a month after its release, the servers have already been saturated, and every day there are hundreds of players from all over the world waiting in line for a chance to play.

This game is only able to exist because of all of its rocks supporters, Hanbisoft CEO Kee Young Kim said.
